I have been training with MJ for 3 years. Before I started to work with MJ I was struggling with my direction towards home plate, my lead leg block, arm strength, and loading into my back leg. Since working with MJ I became a starter for my High school team. With the help of MJ I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my mechanics becoming more efficient and consistent. I have also noticed huge gains in my velo, when I first came to MJ I was 78 to 81. After 3 years I’ve gotten it up to 95 miles per hour. My confidence on the mound has gone through the roof since working with MJ. Ethix is different from other places because MJ takes the time to make everyone feel welcomed. He has hacky sack games and riddles to make it more home like feeling. If someone asked me if they should train here I would say do it. It’s the best thing you can do to give you a shot to make your dreams come true. MJ is the best at it and cares a ton about every one of his players.

I started my training with MJ at the beginning of 2025, and after around 5 Months of training remotely and in person I have seen major improvements. Prior to working with MJ I was throwing 85mph with poor mechanics. In a matter of a few weeks of only mechanical training, I was able to hit a PR of 89mph off the mound with improving mechanics. Now in the summer, being able to work with MJ and other players with similar goals every day, I am able to see more mechanical and strength improvements. At Ethix everyone around you is pushing you to and beyond your limits for your benefit, as everyone is held to a higher standard no matter who you are. The coaching breaks the ideal of one size fits all and everyone has a personalized experience with the workouts and training. I have been training with MJ for about 4 years starting out not knowing anything about pitching and throwing just about 70 mph. A little after a year of working with MJ I hit 90 mph and was able to commit to a D1 school. MJ is not only a coach, he is going to help you through anything and he is always going to be straight up with you. Not going to sugarcoat anything, he is going to tell you how it is. Which is how a coach should be. With Ethix, it is a family, everyone is close to each other and everyone is going to push each other to be better. With the coaching, everyone is treated the same whether you are a pro, in college, high school, or youth, Everyone is treated equally no matter the level that you are. Over my years working with MJ, Not only have I become a better baseball player but I have become a better person as well. I have been training with MJ for about 5 months and it is one of the best decisions I have made for my baseball career. When I first started training with him I had many mechanical issues and was throwing in the low 80’s topping 85mph. I needed to work on my leg lift and sitting back along with rotating my back leg before front foot landing. After training with him for 5 months I am now sitting in the upper 80’s and topping 91mph. MJ is a great coach who can get you to where you want to be in the future. The environment and energy at Ethix is encouraging and hard working. Everyone who comes in is trying to get better and will also push you to be a better player. That is why I get excited to come into Ethix and get better every day.
